participates in The North-East Agri Expo'06, at Dimapur,
Nagaland
The North East Agri
Expo, at Dimapur, Nagaland from 27th -31st March 2006, was
a unique & first time initiative undertaken by the Ministry
of Agriculture, Ministry of Development of North Eastern
Region , Ministry of Rural Development and the Host State,
The Government of Nagaland and the Confederation of Indian
Industry to unlock the immense potential.
A comprehensive presentation on “Metal Packaging to Catapulate Growth of Food Processing” was made by HST. During this Agri Expo interaction was made with Shri. Khekiho Zhimomi, Minister, Industries & Commerce, GON, Shri Kezholuzo, Minister of Agriculture, GON, Shri Shyamal Dutta, Governor of Nagaland, Shri Kantilal Bhuria, Minister of state(Agri), GOI and other Govt. officials & company delegates.

The main objective of the Agri Expo was to highlight the
opportunities & prospectives available for the investors
in each state of this region, namely Arunachal Pradesh,
Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.
Our
company's presence (stall) was there in thematic pavilion,
consisting all types of Cans best suited for packaging edibles
vis-à-vis the layout & the outlook of the stall
was made to potray consumer trends like, Changing eating
habits, Green Consumer, Healthy Food, Working Women, etc.The
emerging message from the stall was “Tinplate as a
packaging material is the best option for Processed Food”.

During this Agri Expo, the company got greater visibility
& a good platform to interact with the future customers
(fillers). Shortly, TCIL will start business with M/s Nagaland
Foods Pvt. Ltd for packaging of Pineapple Juice/Slice/Tidbits,
Passion Fruit Juice & Bamboo Shoots.An invitation has
also been extended to their MD, Mr. Toshiba Longkumer, for
a visit of our Works & Solution Centre.. |
