JRD QV Award: In TCIL’s quest for excellence…
| The Tinplate Co. of India won the coveted JRD QV Award in the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) assessment for the year 2007, which coincided with JRD Tata's 103rd birth anniversary, on 29th July 2007, in a function held at NCPA (National Center for the Performing Arts) Mumbai. Celebrating the birth date of a man who exemplified excellence in all he did, the JRD QV Award salutes JRD's quest for perfection and honours Tata Group Companies. This ceremony is marked as an apt tribute to the doyen of integrity and excellence of the Indian Industry. Mr. B L Raina, Managing Director, along with the members of Senior Leadership Team received the award.

This award is given out to any Tata Group Company for surpassing 600 points for the first time, out of a total score of 1000, which signifies the company as an emerging industry leader.
